Woman charged following thefts

A woman has been charged after nearly £300-worth of goods were stolen from a shop in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Jody Louise Grimes, 37, of no fixed address, has been charged with five counts of theft from a shop. 

It comes after £280-worth of goods were stolen from a shop on Baths Road, Longton, on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 March. 

Grimes has been released on bail with conditions ahead of a hearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday 14 October.
